*Clan protection.

*Sharing of war booty

*Negotiation on behalf of the clan

*Acceptance of tribal opinion.

*Seeking advice from Majlis.

*Offering protection to everyone in the tribe.

*Taking custody of tribal properties.

*Giving directives during battles.
