a) \(\lambda = \frac{h}{p} or \alpha = \frac{h}{mV}\)
b) The significance of the equation is tha, a particle of mass (m) moving with a velocity (v) has an associated wavelength (\(\lambda\)). The wavelength decreases with increase in momentum or velocity.
