(a) Explain wave-particle duality of light.
(b) Illustrate your answer in (a) with observable phenomena.
Explanation
(a) Wave - particle duality of light means that light exists in two forms - wave and particle.
(b)(i) Wave nature - it has properties such as reflection, refraction, diffraction, polarization and interference.
(ii) Particle nature such as - Photo-electricity, momentum, radiation of energy from hot bodies and emission and absorption of light.
