Properties of cathode rays that show particle nature of matter:

- Casting of shadows of objects along their path.

- They have momentum

- Heat up objects that stop thorn, that is they obey energy conservation law.

- They are deflected in electric or magnetic fields, showing they are tiny particles of matter, etc.
