(a) What is meant by the wave-particles duality of matter?
(b) mention one physical phenomenon, in each case, that can be explained in terms of the wave nature and particle nature of light.
Explanation
(a) It means that light behaves either as a wave or as a particle but not as both simultaneously.
(b) As wave nature e.g. diffraction, interference etc. As particle nature e.g. heated body radiation, photoelectric effect etc.
