Aims and Objectives of the National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons (NCNC) are:

(i) to achieve self-rule or independence by providing political education to the people of Nigeria.

(ii) to arouse the. interests of the people by obtaining overwhelming support for political reforms

(iii) to make available to the followers, medium of expression in order to secure economic security, political freedom, social equality and religious tolerance.

(iv)to advance and accelerate the interest of the people of Nigeria, including the cameroons under the British mandate.

(v) to bring about and extend the ideals and principles of democracy to the people of the country.

(vi) to organise and coordi-nate effectively with all its branches throughout the country.
